Myers Park Estate Kitchen

The project

The client entertains for twenty, twelve times a year. Rather than build one giant kitchen, we built two rooms: a show kitchen with a 60-inch range and marble island, and a working scullery behind it with the second dishwasher, prep sinks, and open stainless shelving — restaurant logic applied to a colonial floor plan.

Permitting and structural work in a house this age is its own craft: new steel to carry the opened wall, all-new electrical service, and plaster details rebuilt to match the originals.
